I’m looking at replacing the battery in my 2019 Mercedes E-Class, and the name FIAMM keeps coming up. I’ve read they’re a huge Italian manufacturer that actually supplies original equipment to some serious brands like Ferrari, Maserati, and Mercedes-Benz themselves , so they’re clearly not a no-name brand. The thing is, I work right in the heart of DIFC, and I’m trying to find a service that can do a Reliable Fiamm battery replacement in DIFC without me having to trek across town during my lunch break. A mate of mine said that FIAMM batteries are basically the same as the dealer ones but without the premium markup, which sounds good to me, but I’m always a bit skeptical. Has anyone here actually used a FIAMM in their German car and found it held up well in the summer heat? I’m particularly interested to know if the AGM ones are worth the extra cash over the standard flooded type, especially with all the stop-start tech and electronics in these modern cars.

I’ve been considering FIAMM batteries too, given their reputation and the fact they’re used by top manufacturers. But with Dubai’s summer heat, I’m curious about their performance. I’ve found that heat-resistant window tinting, like what Beat The Heat window tinting offers, can help regulate car temperature, potentially extending battery life. Have you considered this for your E-Class?
