I’m honestly at my breaking point with my Megane because it’s been having these intermittent electrical issues that nobody seems to be able to figure out, and it’s making me seriously consider getting rid of the car altogether. The problem is that every now and then, completely randomly, the dashboard lights will flicker, the radio will cut out, and sometimes the car will even hesitate for a second while I’m driving, almost like it’s losing power for a split second. I’ve taken it to a couple of general workshops and they’ve all done the same thing – plugged in their diagnostic computers, found nothing, charged me for the privilege, and sent me on my way with the problem still there. I’m pretty sure it’s something specific to these Renaults because I’ve read online that they can have issues with the electrical system that don’t always show up on generic scanners, and you really need someone who knows the brand to properly diagnose it. I’ve been looking for a Professional Renault workshop in Abu Dhabi that actually specialises in these cars and has the right equipment and experience to track down these kinds of intermittent faults. Has anyone here dealt with similar electrical gremlins on their Renault and finally found a shop that managed to sort it out? I’d really appreciate any recommendations because I’m getting desperate at this point.
