Yes, sorry, we’re going to add this to the manual shortly
The Lemur Daemon is required to use the Drum Pads and Impulse pads – https://liine.net/en/downloads/lemur It comes with the Lemur install for Mac/Win
Start the Daemon on your Win/Mac and then when you open Lemur settings you can choose to send the Midi ports inside there.
Also you need to select the same midi ports you’re using in the Lemur daemon as the ones in Live.
If you’re on windows you will need to use a midi loopback program (on MAC this is not needed) – such as http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html
More info on how to set up Lemur here:

xmonstaKeymasterHi Matt,
It’s been a seriously big challenge. However, we’ve created installers for all MAC and WIN versions:

xmonstaKeymasterHi Will,
This is unlikely to be a problem with PULL. It is a problem with general lemur set up.
1) The ip address/port may not be set correctly in the Lemur settings
2) The ipad should be on the same network as the computer
3) There could be something blocking the communication between ipad/computer (perhaps a firewall). Most likely to be number 1

xmonstaKeymasterThanks O1iv3r. Diva, All Sugar Bytes, Audio Damage and Sylenth templates are already in the works. Just a few bits of testing left before releasing. Hopefully we can make a start to the others soon too 🙂

xmonstaKeymasterHi Matthew,
We have been looking at various options for a MAC installer (90% of the install queries we get to support are regarding MAC OSX). Part of the problem is that this is not a packaged piece of software. It is a collection of addons to 3 pieces of software (Live, Max and Lemur) that work in harmony together to make this possible. When PULL is installed, there are files that need to be placed inside existing software. On MAC OSX it is difficult to merge folders/files because of MAC OSX’s way of file management. This is easy when you package your software fully, because you create all the applications/directories and there is no overwriting, or merging of files needed. However, when you are copying addon files, this becomes much more complex, because it is necessary to take into account files within the existing applications.
We have ensured that there are minimal changes to files during upgrades. You will generally only have to replace the amxd and template files for future upgrades, so once you have it installed you should be all good.
If you’ve ever used our support, you’ll also know that we respond very quickly (usually within the hour). We have supported many customers through the install and managed to get every one set up so far.
Hope that helps explain. Rest assured we are working on ways of making the install more simple and if we find a way to do a self-extracting install, we will include it as soon as possible.
Cheers

xmonstaKeymasterGreat thanks for this Thomas!
xmonstaKeymasterHi Kirkwoodwest,
It is most likely that you have copied files into the wrong place
– send a screenshot of your C:\Program Files\Cycling ’74\Max 6.1\Cycling ’74\java\lib directory to support@xmonsta.com so we can diagnoseIt could be that you havent got a java runtime installed. However, this is highly unlikely. You could try installing the 64 bit offline version here – http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

xmonstaKeymasterHi Juan,
Strange, this normally works perfectly. I’ve sent you the file over email. However, we will work on getting this set up properly, so you can get updates etc.

xmonstaKeymasterCool, glad you found them. You shouldnt have to install again. Looks like you found them, but there are some upgrade instructions in the docs. No reinstallation of sigabort fix needed. Just a few new files to copy over and a few old files to overwrite

xmonstaKeymasterFrom our tests there doesn’t seem to be any noticeable difference between ipad 1 & 2 with PULL. We’ve also supported quite a few people with ipad 1 (for other support queries) and we haven’t had any reports of poor performance. As long as Lemur 5 is installed.
xmonstaKeymasterHi Mark,
Just checking but are you sure v1.1 isn’t in your set somewhere? You’ll want only 1.2 in the set save the set and open it again.
Best to delete any previous versions and also create new adv files for the amxd.
Another thing you can try is to delete all the PULL amxd’s from your hard drive. Then open the live set (the one thats crashing). Live will create placeholders where PULL used to be. Delete these placeholders. Save the set. Then add PULL into the set again (save an adv if you like).
If youre still having problems, please send your log file to support. Instructions for getting your log files can be found at the bottom of this page – https://www.ableton.com/en/articles/live-crash-packs/
Cheers
